Cooking : Simmered Bamboo shoot !!!!!









 Hello! I maked simmered Bamboo shoot the other day.

At first, I introduce about it for those who are not familiar with it. 


The thing is, I boiling off the bitterness from bamboo shoot a new experience (^-^;

I learned how to make from my grand mother and the website of " KAGOME".

I peeled it part way through (lol) It said that the bottom of bumps are delicious! (by grandma). Bumps shaves.


 


I cut it lengthwise in half and put it in a pot. 
Until then, In a pot need to boil with "Rice hulls". If you don't have this in your house, you can use  "Rice water". I'll be not have this too. Please use the water. It can’t be helped(>_<) 仕方ない

I did it.

I dump and cut the bottom by mistake. .。o○(in spite of delicios) I'll boil it later. It should state something like that when you were peelig it.
Please clean leavings with water after it finished to boil.



Well then, let's simmer it! I refer to the recipe.

 

cut the ingredients into bite size pieces. I boiled it with Shirodashi and water. It's delicious add Japanese pepper leaves in a pot.


 

 

Finally, season the bamboo sprinkle on thin shaings of dried bonito with it. It's all done!I forgot to take the photo."(-""-)" Putting my belly before my looks...
